Did not upgrade to 18.04 correctly
I was running Xubuntu 16.04 and was running into issues with getting it to interface with my graphics card, so I attempted to update it to 18.04. This was before 18.04 had explicitly come out with an upgrade for 16.04, so I believe I used an upgrade for 17 or so. Now many of my applications don't display text correctly and computationally intensive programs such as MATLAB are capping out on memory, which before was not an issue considering I have an Intel i7 dual core.
Is there any way to check if I have installed Ubuntu correctly or just generally redo the update?
