Boot process hangs after RTX 2060 install

Image
0 I recently installed a new RTX 2060 in my Ubuntu machine. I had a bit of trouble installing it because I couldn't get the drivers to install from Nvidia's website. Then I found the appropriate ppa. This is after I had reinstalled the OS once. I have just reinstalled again because that install didn't go correctly because I didn't format things and just chose the automatic route. I did it the proper way this time and yet my system still hangs at boot. I have to go into recovery mode, select the dpkg repair option, and then everything boots up just fine. I just want it to do that without me having to mess with things. From off to on with no touching, you know. Anyway here's some info about my system: ./+o+- christopher@stormbreaker yyyyy- -yy

Can the Catapult spell be used to launch objects straight up or at an angle?

Image
6 $begingroup$ Catapult reads: Choose one object weighing 1 to 5 pounds within range that isn't being worn or carried. The object flies in a straight line up to 90 feet in a direction you choose before falling to the ground, stopping early if it impacts against a solid surface. Could you use this to fire objects directly upwards or at an angle (like a real catapult)? If you can fire at an angle, can you use that to extend the range? For instance, traveling 90 feet diagonally then beginning its projectile descent. I'd assume accuracy would be much more difficult than the straight-line 90 feet. What about using it to launch grappling hooks, etc., with ropes for climbing purposes? dnd-5e spells
