share ownership of files created by samba users on zfs pool
Samba users can create files and folders but the local user can't modify them without chown.
I tried ACLs but this is a ZFS root directory and setfacl says "operation not supported".
Tried setting create and directory masks to 777 with no effect.
Tried chgrp users /share && chmod g+s /share with no effect. I am an ubuntu beginner so maybe I made a mistake here.
Samba users and the local user are part of the same group
Is there a way for files/folders to have the same permissions whether they are created locally or by samba users?
