What is a good scheme for partitioning hard drive for multiple os's?

0

I built my current machine to have a "Windows" box and have since spent more time in Ubuntu. I'd also like to try out FreeBSD in the future. My current storage layout is:

  • 256gb M.2 with Windows and all Windows apps

  • 500gb SSD with Ubuntu (all partitioned up as per the guide)

With this setup I need to be spamming F11 to trigger boot options to get into Ubuntu otherwise I load right into Windows. Is there a way to set up my drives to boot to a menu for picking which OS I'd prefer (or just straight to Ubuntu since that's what I use the most)?
