After installing Ubuntu 14.04, I can't connect to Internet, 'No device network detected'
I read other posts but I could not solve the problem

  • Ubuntu 14.04 was released in 2014.April with 5 years of supported life. Given it's almost at the end of it's 5 years of free supported life (unless you intended to use ESM with Ubuntu Advantage & pay for additional support), I'd suggest you re-install a later release of Ubuntu rather than trying to fix it. Also note Xubuntu and flavors only have 3 years of support, so 14.04 Xubuntu has already past EOL for 'universe' or your desktop packages.

  • Thanks, I know but I need Cuda 7.5 and Cudnn 5.1 for using a toolbox, I couldn't use it in Ubuntu 16.04, so I don't have any choice.
