Make ICC profile permanent with KUbuntu nvidia driver

0

With the aid of this question I got it mostly working. I can import my own profile and set it as default for my monitor. This default is remembered across boots but it isn't applied correctly during login. When it has accepted my password during the loading I can see the monitor momentarily switch to my custom profile but it switches back before desktop is shown.

I can go to color in the settings application and it will have the correct profile selected. When I switch to other profile and back to my profile it is loaded correctly.

Does anyone no of a way to make it load correctly automatically?

I'm using nvidia drivers not nouveau. I tried to use nouveau but that driver causes big blackouts in the rendering of the desktop.
