My DVD Drive shows it is present, but it will not read disks?

0

When I insert my disks, it will not auto-run and it will not play.

The disk will show and it will open like its a usb or data CD, but it will not actually run or play anything.

I typed in terminal commands and it mounted, but it claimed that the file is "Read-Only" and Im thinking that is why it will not play my disks?

It treats the disk like a storage disk and not a playable disk, how can I remedy this?

Thank you all for your help!
