Trouble installing on new Acer Laptop

0

I have made sure the SATA controller is set to ACHI and not RAID and disabled secure boot. When I get to the Disk Setup step, it only shows one partition - /dev/nvme0n1 - and it is only 14.4GB.

When I run gparted from Ubuntu Live, I get this error: "Could not stat device /dev/mapper/isw: untested metadata version 1.4.01found on /dev/sda - No such file or directory."

I have a 1TB hdd and even created an EXT4 partition in Windows.
