How to fix huge scaled interface on Apple MacbookPro10,1 retina with nvidia-390 drivers?

0

I have just installed Ubuntu MATE 18.04.2 LTS with all updates on Apple MacbookPro10,1 A1398 (Retina at 2880 x 1800). The kernel version is 4.15.0-46-generic. The laptop has integrated Intel and Nvidia GTX 650M.

So I tried to install Nvidia drivers with software-properties-gtkAdditional Drivers.

The Nvidia 340 went me to black screen, so I have installed Nvidia 390 instead.
It boots to desktop, but the interface is huge as shown below:

huge interface

How should I make it normally scaled?

Notes:

1. The resolution is normal with nouveau driver.

2. Installation with sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall ends with the same huge interface.
