Failed to set the global VirtualBox extra data for key GUI

I am trying to open a saved VM from my previous work but unable to do do. Yesterday I created 3 VMs with important work for school and today somehow they were not visible in my Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager. Therefore I tried to create a new VM by opening those VM which were saved on my Windows PC under VirtualBox folder.But whenever I am trying to create them. I get the below error.Please help me resolve this issue...
