how to install a new linux os?

i installed linuxmint19.1 and removed all other os on my computer the linuxmint 19.1 won't auto-maticly start cd/dvd/pcgames, my nvidia Graphics card is not being read or my HDD, usbs are not reconised my backup of windows 7 with all my stuff will not show up/ what do i do or is there a way to boot from usb and try again i dont know what this EFI junk is but now the boot options are different i have no idea what to do. is there a way to completly reboot linux mint19.1 and make my drivers compatible in my current situation ?
