Migrating an Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen h
I’ve recently bought a Acer Nitro 5 with a Ryzen 5 and discreet graphics. I still waiting for the arrival and want to know if it can be upgraded to 2.5”SSD and to 16GB RAm and most of all will it run a Linux OS instead of Windows 10?

" if it can be upgraded to 2.5”SSD and to 16GB RAm" we do not provide answers on hardware. Regarding this: ask the vendor?! "most of all will it run a Linux OS instead of Windows 10?" Since you already bought it: make a live session and you will find out yourself. Nowadays all systems run Linux, Issue might be that YOU might not get it to work (my 1st uefi systems where a pain to get Linux installed on but in the end I did get it installed).

Thanks. I am thinking positive in the hope... the live session is promising. I haven’t used a PC in years. Ubuntu is an old friend, but I might try Linux Mint.
