[SOLVED Ubuntu 18.04 can't disable startup

0

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04. I set up a script, and originally added it in gnome-session-properties. It didn't show the terminal, so I edited it to read gnome-terminal -e <path>/bot_run.sh.

My problem is that then it ran it twice on reboot. I removed it in gnome-session-properties, but it still runs upon reboot. I can't find any other entries anywhere that would cause it to run. I tried grep -r bot_run . but it didn't find it.

The script is a simple script that launches a python Discord bot. I can't seem to figure out why it's still running when I reboot.

EDIT: Never mind. I'm an idiot. I check crontab -e and I had added a @reboot line. Forgive my level of stupid. Maybe my idiocy will help other lost souls.
