Ubuntu.css in 18.04

0

I am trying to edit the login and unlock screen. I successfully managed to change the background. When I look into ubuntu.css in /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme I can see a line which denotes where SVGs are stored.

background-image: url("resource:///org/gnome/shell/theme/calendar-today.svg"); }

I am not able to locate it on my PC. Can someone help me locate it?

    That is not an actual directory that you can access, it's due to GResource mechanism, shell can get at the resource from the resource:// URI. Generally they're not human-readable. Search for calendar-today.svg inside /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ directory, you may find the file there.

  • @user227495 Do you have a .gresource file in /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ or /usr/share/gnome-shell/?
