Pointer focus strange behaviour in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

0

I've huge problems with my pointer on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. It connects automatically into focused object in a few seconds. Further I can't copy anything painted with Ctrl+c; the painting disappears as soon as I press the Ctrl-button. Same thing happens when using mouse and touch pad.

The problem started some weeks ago (due to updates?). At the same time I started to get from time to time crash messages (gnome!); the stm continued working.

Does it sound familiar to anybody? How to fix it?

  • Could you explain what you meant by "connects automatically into focused object in a few seconds"?
