Install axe 027 in Ubuntu 18.04

0

I am writing today to see if anyone can help me with the installation of the axe cable 027(http://www.picaxe.com/Software/Drivers/AXE027-USB-Cable-Driver/) in Ubuntu 18.04. I've been using it with Ubuntu for years, even in the raspberry pi, but I have not found a way to do it with the new version of Ubuntu.
I tried in the Picaxe forum for someone to help me, but even though they have been very attentive, we have not been able to solve the problem. It is somewhat related to the configuration of FTDI- The link to the thread created there is as follows:https://picaxeforum.co.uk/threads/install-axe-027-in-ubuntu-18-04.31409/ . There are many of the results indicated to various commands that I was recommended to use to prove that it could be happening.
The installation they recommend is:
sudo modprobe ftdi_sio
sudo chmod 777 /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id
sudo echo "0403 bd90" > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id
sudo adduser your_name dialout

Investigating on the Internet, I have found many people who also have the same problem with the Arduino programming cable, which is similar..

Thanks and regards
