爱德华·罗宾逊（英语：Edward G. Robinson，1893年12月12日－1973年1月26日，意第緒語：עמנואל גאָלדנבערג‎‎)，是罗马尼亚出生的美国演员。[1]好莱坞黄金时代的当红明星。他曾演过很多让人难忘的角色，像是《小凯撒》里的Rico和《盖世枭雄（英语：Key Largo (film)）》（Key Largo）里的Rocco。其他令人难忘的角色还包括黑色电影《双重赔偿》（Double Indemnity）中的Barton Keyes和《十诫》（The Ten Commandments）中的Dathan[2]。1973年在罗宾逊去世后两个月，他被追授奥斯卡终身成就奖。他被收入美国电影学会选出的25个最伟大的美国电影男明星名单。

早年及教育


罗宾逊出生于布加勒斯特的一个讲意第绪语的罗马尼亚犹太家庭，那时他的名字是伊曼纽尔·戈登伯格（Emanuel Goldenberg）[3]，在他的一个兄弟遭受反犹太暴徒袭击后，家人决定移民美国。10岁的罗宾逊与家人于1903年2月14日抵达纽约市。他成长于纽约下东城，曾在Townsend Harris High School和纽约市立学院学习。他对演戏十分感兴趣，在赢得了美国戏剧艺术学院的奖学金后，他把他的名字改为爱德华·G·罗宾逊（Edward G. Robinson）（G标志着他的原姓）。

个人生活


1927年罗宾逊与第一任妻子舞台剧演员Gladys Lloyd结婚，Gladys Lloyd是Ralph L. Vestervelt的前妻；建筑师，雕塑家和艺术家Clement C. Cassell的女儿。夫妻俩有一个儿子，Edward Goldenberg Robinson, Jr.（又名Manny Robinson，1933–1974），以及Gladys第一次婚姻的一个女儿。[4]1956年，他与他的妻子离婚。于1958年，他与38岁的礼服设计师Jane Bodenheimer结婚。


罗宾逊会说七种语言。


罗宾逊在1973年死于癌症，墓穴在纽约市皇后区里奇伍德伯特利公墓的家庭陵墓内。
