How to configure Lampp to point a domain to specific directoy on Ubuntu

0

There are a lot of sources present on the internet that guide how to configure apache2 server to point a domain to a specific directory and I know it. But I am using LAMPP so that anyone guide me how to configure LAMPP so that I can point my domain to specific directory.

At this time my domain is pointing to /opt/lampp/htdocs but I wanted it to point a directory in the htdocs. I think /opt/lampp/etc/httpd.conf or /opt/lampp/apache2/conf/httpd.conf is needed to be edited but I don't know how to reload this file after editing also I don't know how to properly edit it.

So my problem is very straight forward, I will be highly thankful to you I you help me that how to do this.
