I had a dummy output issue on my Lenovo T470S (model 20HFCTO1WW) but just today there was an auto update by Ubuntu that was reportedly related to Lenovo Thinkpad and the sound was fixed, however, only for the laptop speakers and not when the headphones jack is plugged in.

How do I get the sound to come out my headphones?
