Removing ubuntu 16.4 withot formatting drive C

I am trying to removing ubuntu16.4 because it doesn't show any menu toolbar and i was trying to solve it by installing ccsm(compizconfig-settings-manager) and it doesn't work!
Is that correct that i remove ubuntu or i should do anything else?
please help me
