Fan starts running on every application start
Since I have my laptop I have the problem that the fan starts on every application starts and runs for 5-6 secs. Since I am a beginner with linux I don't know exactly what could be the cause, so I would welcome any advice.
My laptop has the following specs:
- ThinkPad E480
- 16Ram
- i5-8250U CPU 1.6GHZ
- Ubuntu 18.04
Here is also a video recording my top & sensors: https://imgur.com/a3eWhSE
My fan started running immediately after starting discord and stop when the video ended, even though my CPU and free Memory wasn't even changing.
When I am coding, doesn't matter if I use vim or JetBrains Editors my fan will go off.
Does anyone have an idea what is going on?
What kind of information do you need from me?
Best regards & thanks in advance!
