WIfi adapter not found on Ubuntu

0

I recently overwritten my windows 10 machine with Ubuntu desktop. I can connect to the internet fine when i plug in an ethernet cable. But it wont let me connect via my wifi. In wifi settings it says my wifi adapter is not found.

Can anyone help me resolve this. As I want to use Ubuntu for my main OS and have been so frustrated with trying to get my wifi working.

Thanks
