The created iso file cannot be installed

0

First, extract the iso file:

xorriso -osirrox on -indev ./ubuntu-16.04.3-server-amd64.iso -extract / ./test > /dev/null

Then, without changing the contents of the test directory. Make an iso file with the following command.

mkisofs -allow-limited-size -r -iso-level 3 -joliet-long -D -r -V "ubuntu-16.04.3-server-amd64.iso" -cache-inodes -J -l -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -o ./test.iso ./test

ubuntu-16.04.3-server-amd64.iso is download from the official website, and can be installed normally, but the produced test.iso cannot be installed.

I checked a lot of information and found no reason.

Can you help me? Or can there be other commands to make an iso file that can be installed?
