how to automatically fill i3 placeholders with actual application instances
Following the instructions at i3-Layout saving/restoring, I am able to get back my layout setup. But the problem is that all I get is a bunch of placeholders. How do I fix things such that the actual applications open up in the correct placeholders -- instead of the placeholders that is? For example instead of a placeholder where gedit should be, a blank gedit instance might be there (blank or not).
