Ubuntu 18.10 - iwconfig no wireless extensions

0

Well, im trying to make mi wifi work on Ubuntu for first time.

I read in the forums that a lot of people have problems with this wifi realtek drivers and i am one of them too.

I found a quick and cool step by step but it starts with "Set Security boot DISABLED and type on terminal iwconfig.

I cant enable security boot, so its disable by default but when i type iwconfig it just says "no wireless extensions"

idk what to do anymore.

btw: The guide whas on this post: Networking - Install wifi Adapter HP laptop Ubuntu 18.10 rtl8723be

          Hellow amigo,
Can you try installing the non free firmware realtek , this package contains private software and i think has you're drivers.
