Mplayer Fatal Error
Folks,
I am having trouble with my Mplayer installation. I am running Linux Lite 64bit, which uses Ubuntu version 16, on a Dell Latitude E5500. I am getting a Falal Error relating to the Skins used by the Mplayer program. My question may have been answered by Gweltaz Niquel. However, I am unable to implement all his suggested steps. For example when I try the reinstall he lists sudo apt-get install mplayer I get a 0 installed. Any help would be much appreciated.
God bless you'll.
tnx john

A 'work around' would be to avoid usng GMPlayer (the gui for MPlayer which uses these skins) and use SMPlayer instead...

Possible off-topic question. Linux Lite is not Ubuntu, nor an official flavor of Ubuntu thus off-topic on this site (refer askubuntu.com/help/on-topic)
