Where is syscall table

0

So I have a homework to write system call for my OS class. The instruction says I need to add the new syscall I've written into the syscall table (syscall_64.tbl file).

It's supposed to be in this here arch/x86/syscalls/syscall_64.tbl, but it's not there. I tried arch/x86/entry/syscalls/ but it's not there either. I used locate syscall_64.tbl but the result is empty.

My linux kernel version is 4.15.0-46-generic. So is there something wrong with my ubuntu or the syscall table is somewhere else? Thank you
