Script in scripts directory does not execute when computer returns from sleeping
I put a script in home/andy/scripts. The readme in that directory says
Scripts placed in this folder will be executed on restore.
The script does not execute when my computer returns from sleeping.
Does restore refer to my computer returning from sleep mode or something else?
Thanks.

Do you mean/home/andy/scripts
? What readme are you talking about, what is its filename?

There is no specification or anything I know of about~/scripts
or anything that would relate this location to the system power state. I would assume you created or downloaded that folder yourself at some time and forgot about it?

@dessert @ Byte Commander The name of the file is README. And I did not put it there or create it.

"restore" refers to a backup plan and restoring files from that backup and not to hibernation or suspend.

You should share the contents of this README so that people don't have to guess in order to help you.
