Second display splits to half

My 17" Laptop screen has 4k resolution and my secondary monitor is a 23" with 1920x1080 resolution. And only a part of the secondary screen is being accessible by the mouse pointer.
I can see half of the primary screen on the secondary as well (image 2 & 3)
