Steam apears on the task bar, but it just keeps loading

I downloaded steam for Linux on my Chromebook. I am using the Linux (Beta) on Chromebook to install and run the app I wanted to ask on how to make it work because, as the picture shows, even though it shows in the task bar, it doesn't open. (I have other Linux apps that work perfectly)Here you can find the picture
