adding cordova repository on ubuntu

0

I'm trying to add the repository using the following command

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cordova-ubuntu/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cordova-cli

Error:

E: Repository 'http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb stable Release' changed its 'Origin' value from 'Google, Inc.' to 'Google LLC'
N: This must be accepted explicitly before updates for this repository can be applied. See apt-secure(8) manpage for details.
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/cordova-ubuntu/ppa/ubuntu bionic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Using:

Distributor ID: Ubuntu

Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Release: 18.04

Codename: bionic

  • The PPA you added only supports up to xenial (16.04), did you check before adding? As it doesn't support bionic (18.04) you should remove it. (ppa.launchpad.net/cordova-ubuntu/ppa/ubuntu/dists)
