How can I connect to 802.1x wired network using netplan

0

How can I connect my Ubuntu Server (18.04) box to a 802.1x wired network (PEAP, MSCHAPV2) with netplan?
This is what I have so far:

network:
version: 2
renderer: networkd
ethernets:
enp3s0:
dhcp4: yes
auth:
key-management: 802.1x
method: peap
identity: user
password: password

What worries me is the lack of the option to specify MSCHAPV2.
Can anyone say if this is going to work, as I have no way to test this at the moment.
Thank you.
