How to set openvpn to use a reserved IP
I have a vultr instance running an OpenVPN upon ubuntu 18.04. It's working fine, but now I added a reserved ip and want it using to make the connections to the web.
network:
version: 2
renderer: networkd
ethernets:
ens3:
dhcp4: no
addresses: [IPV4_IP/23,NEW_IPV4_IP/32,'IPV6_IP/64']
gateway4: IPV4_GATEWAY
nameservers:
addresses: [108.61.10.10]
routes:
- to: 169.254.0.0/16
via: IPV4_GATEWAY
metric: 100
When I do that, the NEW_IPV4_IP
is reachable but OpenVPN still uses the default IPV4_IP
. What should I do to OpenVPN uses the other IP address?
