How to to update link between Apache tomcat and PostgreSQL server
My company got 2 Ubuntu server (ver 18 )
svr-erpdb (IP :192.168.2.1/24 & GW : 192.168.2.254)
svr-erapp (IP :192.168.2/2/24 & GW : 192.168.2.254)
url 192.168.2.2 to access erp.
Now we setup 2 VM for above 2 erp server at DR Center.
But DR center IP segment is 192.168.1.0 /24
I had did below:
Step 1:Change both server IP address
svr-erpdb change to 192.168.1.67/24 & Gw : 192.168.1.222
svr-erpapp change to 192.168.1.68/24 & Gw : 192.168.1.222
result : able ping both server from client PC
Step 2 : update pg_hba.conf at svr-erpdb
change to 192.168.1.68 from 192.168.2.2
then sudo reboot
both server
Step 3 : update postgresql.conf
change ip to 192.168.1.67,192.168.1.68 from 192.168.2.1,192.168.2.1
then sudo reboot
Step4 : change URL to new IP
192.168.1.68
Yellow error page come out said : FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "192.168.1.68", user "postgres", database "symphonydb", SSL off
update : 17/1/2019
I finally find out the reason why i did all but still received error msg no pg_hpa.conf for host 192.168.1.68
bcos this new ip app-server still keep connected to old db server (192.168.2.2)
so the solution is update the link between app server and db server.
app server installed Apache tomcat 8.0.35 and db server installed postgreSql 10
pls guide me how to update the link between apache tomcat server and postgresql server (mean instruct app server 192.168.1.68 point to db server 192.168.1.67, not 192.168.2.2 anymore)
thanks in advance.
