python2 support in 18.04 LTS?

0

Considering that python2 is included in 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu provides LTS support on those packages, is Ubuntu going to provide security support for python2 packages (and which ones) by backporting obvious security issues from python3 to python2 or not?

What kind of support would be provided on python 2 packages?

Thank you!
