I cant mount my flash drive!

0

This is my first post so pls don't hate.

I put my 8 TB memory bank into my Chromebook (which is Linux 9.5 btw) and opened up the terminal app. I wanted to mount my memory bank and I knew it was sda2 so I ran the command sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/Filename. It then said No such file or directory I could really use some help and I'm not a professional on this stuff either. Thanks!

Here if this is any help

  • What release of Ubuntu are you running on your Chromebook? Did you create the /media/filename as a directory? before trying to mount to it?

  • Please include, via cut-and-paste, the full and complete error message, not just your summary of what you think the important part is. Also, show the output of ls /dev/sd* and ls /media.
