is there someone I can hire to help upgrade my ubuntu? [on hold]

0

my son has previously been my go to person for this computer. He's moved further away, and has his own life. I am willing to hire someone, as I really like UBUNTU but i think i've probably really screwed it up too, amateurishly trying different things to get it working. It just needs an upgraded clean system, it still works, but some apps won't work and i don't know why
I would hire someone, but even in my large metropolitan city on the west coast, I am having trouble finding that kind of help
Thank you

This site isn't for hiring help, but it very much is for helping. Spend some time on the site to see what a good question looks like, then ask your questions here one at a time. Odds are you will get help.

Welcome to the site ! AskUbuntu is a Question/Answer site within the scope of Ubuntu, and we do answer things such as "How do I do x, y, z ?" or "Something doesn't work, what can I do to fix it ?". We don't really answer questions about jobs and employment, so your question is potentially off-topic. You can post a question about specific symptops and issues that your Ubuntu has, and we'll try to answer it. Please beware, though, AskUbuntu has more or less strict format of single question per post and strictly on topic of Ubuntu OS. This is not exactly a forum where anything can be posted
