Ralink Wifi PCIE card not working properly in Ubuntu 18.04

0

Having some trouble with my wifi not working properly. Ive been looking online and havent had much luck finding a solution for myself.
I have Ubuntu 18.04 installed on my hard drive.I have a dual boot with windows and ubuntu. In Ubuntu it recognizes my wifi card but it does not work properly. When i go to see available networks the signal is very weak and it only picks up 2 networks with 1 bar of signal strength and neither network is the one i want to connect to. My hard wired connection works fine though. Also when i boot into windows the wifi card works fine, picks up 8 or so networks including the one im trying to connect to all with reasonable signal strength. So the card is working, just not in Ubuntu.
According to Ubuntu, this is the wifi card i have installed:
Network controller [0280]: Ralink corp. RT5390R 802.11bgn PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [1814:539b]

Does anyone know what i should do to fix this?
