I wanted to get rid of dock, so I tried this:

sudo apt remove gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock

Now, @pomsky warned us,

it is not at all recommended as it will also remove the ubuntu-desktop meta-package which may break stuffs later

I didn't pay much attention to this, and sure enough, something have been broken.

keyboard indicator not working properly

As you can see, the keyboard indicator (next to VLC) is not showing the current keyboard language.

But then if I switch the language to something else (e.g. fa here), it shows fine, and works fine:

keyboard indicator works properly

This, most notably, happens when I log in. But I believe it happens other times randomly as well.

Also, I haven't tried reinstalling the dock to see if that solves it and frankly, I don't wish too; Because I despise the dock.

How can I fix it? Thank in Advance!
