Ardour I/O problems with JACK

0

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04, trying to get the digital audio workspace Ardour 5 working. I'm having troubles getting my mic to take in sound and my speakers to output it. The problems stem from JACK and my lack of understanding of it.

If anyone could help me configure JACK so that I can record audio from my condenser microphone and be able to output it through my system's speakers, I would appreciate it.
