I am trying to access the functions of my router.(Netgear D2200D)

http:/192.168.254.254

I used the user and password as shown on my router, but

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I did a factory reset of the router by pressing a recessed button in the back of the router for 20 seconds.

          Results:

          1. Pings now work
          2. Thunderbird can now get mail
