How can I encrypt an image folder of my website that can show images to the visitors of my website but the...
My OS is Ubuntu and web server is lighttpd. I have a image hosting site. Images uploaded by users on my website are stored in /var/www/html/site1/uploads
. I want to encrypt the uploads
folder so if someone hack my site or get access into my server will not be able to delete or see the contents inside the uploads
folder but I want the images to be visible when a visitor visits the link of any picture. For example http://example.com/uploads/any-uploaded-image.jpg
will show the picture. Even <img src="http://example.com/uploads/any-uploaded-image.jpg">
will also show the picture.
How can I do that?
