Is there a way to tell apt-cache policy to show only candidate (instead of all available versions). Otherwise, a nasty parsing is needed, and I would like to refrain from that.

Example:

$ apt-cache policy foo
foo:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1.2-54
Version table:
1.2-54 500 # <---------------- Show only this one
500 http://example/host/tools/debian stretch/all/ Packages
1.2-53 500
500 http://example/host/tools/debian stretch/all/ Packages
1.2-52 500

1.2-51 500
