Dependency issues with Ubuntu 18.10 updates on gnome-tweak-tool and gnome-shell

0

I was wondering if anyone out there has run into this problem. I installed Voyager 18.10 from usb stick on this computer, an HP ProOne 400 AIO without any problems. Since then on the last several updates I've had recurring errors for gnome tweak tool and gnome shell dependecy problems leaving unconfigured. actual error messages from logs are as follow; other Critical:gnome-tweak-tool: dependency problems leaving unconfigured; Critcal:gnome-shell: dependency problems leaving unconfigured ; Critical: gnome-tweaks: dependency problems leaving unconfigured ; Critical: gnome-shell-common:installed gnome-shell-common package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status2. The most recent logs show Unrecoverable failure in component org.gnome.Shell.desktop. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. mmill
