Wacom Intuos Bluetooth Pairs, then Disconnects

0

So, I have a Wacom Intuos Pro (model PTH-660) tablet, and if I connect it via usb to my laptop running Ubuntu 18.10, it works great.

However, when I attempt to use the bluetooth wireless connection, I run into issues. My bluetooth manager can see the tablet when I turn it on, and I can pair the device. Once paired, the tablet shows as connected -- but an unknown device, and the stylus is not recognized. After a few minutes, the connection drops, and cannot be reconnected without removing the paired device and re-adding.

I did have some initial bumps with bluetooth for things like my headphones, but everything is now working for non graphics tablets with bluetooth. Any idea of what is going on with this?

For reference, the driver being used for the tablet is the wacom one:

kate@Orion:~$ grep "Using input drive" /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[ 9.241] (II) Using input driver 'libinput' for 'Power Button'
